Olefins and Feedstock Report: Almost Business as Usual
Olefin and feedstock offtake plummeted in February in regions that are being impacted by the coronavirus, such as East Asia (See Vol. 1, Issue 1), but Latin America has nearly been completely spared. FOFT: Ningbo Zhongjin Petrochemicals of China Buying High Sulfur SRFO from Spot Market
Chinese private-owned Ningbo Zhongjin Petrochemicals has imported straight run fuel oil(SRFO) mainly from spot market since last year. The company had imported about 3 million metric tons of SRFO on both a spot and term basis after its start-up in August 2015.
